Digger
Developer: Windmill Software
Publisher:
Year: 1983
Category: Classic
Description:
(written by Eric Savage)
Back in the days of grey television sets (almost), Digger was one of the
games that set the gaming industry on the go. At the time, the graphics
were superb, the effects made with the pc speaker were state-of-the-art
and the gameplay? Addictive. The bottom line is that you must dig your
way around the screens, dropping bags of gold so you can pick up the
gold and killing of your enemies who chase you around. The best is the
bonus time when you are able to get the cherry and run after your enemies with the cowboy music playing. OK, games are a lot better these days, but if you're looking for light relief, then a bit of nostalgic recollection will put some more sprite in your day.
